As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ladson Elmore may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ladson Elmore Kirk, Sr. and Jean Gloria Shank; his brothers, Frederick Kirk and Gene Kirk; and his stepdaughter Bonnie Hoffman.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Kirk (Bonnie) of LaPlata, MD; his stepchildren, Brenda Morales (Ed) of Sarasota, FL, Sharon Payne of Lusby, MD and Jeff Wohlfarth (Lisa) of Lakeland, FL; and his sister Rosemarie Hamilton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Huntt Funeral Home (3035 Old Washington Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
