He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Charles and Mary E. Charles (Sollenberger); his sister Anna E. Wilson; his friend Claudia Pilkerton; and also Sharon.
He is survived by: his stepsister Shirley Martin (Clyde); his nephews, Timothy Wilson (Robin) and Vincent Wilson; his stepdaughter Roxanne Mierow (William); his stepgranddaughters, Lori Zillmer (Richard) and Caryn Van Buskirk; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Richard Zillmer.
