With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon Thomas Christopher Spalding (Leonardtown, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 31, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Calvert Spalding; his stepmother Mabel Spalding; his aunt Josephine Goddard; his uncle Clarence Goddard; and his siblings, James, Russell (Elmer Spalding), Clarence, Benjamin (Joseph Goddard), Mary Sue Bramall and Mary Agnes Abell.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Spalding; his children, Suzanne Alexander (Dan), Debbie Spalding (late Michael Morton), Karen Spalding, Cathy Fenwick (Scott Cooley), Thomas Spalding Jr. (Tammy), Clara Stokel Spalding, Frederick Spalding, Patrick Spalding (Angel), Michael Spalding (Mary) and John Andrew Spalding (Valerie); and his sister Regina Goddard Abell. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
