She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Nettie Thomas-Curtis and Martin Curtis; her husband George Francis Young; her siblings, Mary Lillian Curtis, Anna Mae Butler, James, Mitchell, George, Roger, Martin and Henry Curtis; her granddaughter Ursula Rhodes; her great great grandchild Aspen Butler; and her sister-in-law Gertrude Curtis.
She is survived by: her children, George C., Agnes Rosetta Young (Rose), Joseph A. Young (Joe), Betty J. Young, Mary E. Young (Elaine) and Carolyn L. Young; her granddaughter Velma Swales; her great-niece Barbara; her nephew John Holley; her daughters, Catherine F. Swales (Francine) and Judy Ann Johnson; and her close friend Annie Mae Berry. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
