She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Wriggleworth and Ethel J. Wrigglesworth; her husband Arthur F. Hughes; and her sons, Glenn R. Hughes and Steven C. Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hughes of Leonardtown, MD and Kevin W. Hughes; her daughter-in-law Michele J. Hughes of Mechanicsville, MD.; her grandchildren, Steven Hughes Jr., Kirstyn Grimes, Kyle Hughes, Joshua Hughes and Hannah Hughes; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Tegan, Jack and Kennedy; her brother-in-law Larry (Susie Hughes); and her nieces, Melissa (Christine) and Sister Anne Kelly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory (30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). A burial will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
