It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augustus Raymond Herbert of Leonardtown, Maryland, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth and Lee Alexander Herbert; his wife Mary Elizabeth Forbes; his children, Rose Marie Day, Pandora C. Herbert and Thomas Lionel Herbert, Sr.; his siblings, Eddie Herbert, Buck Enoch Herbert, Edith Nelson and Agnes Holley; his daughters-in-law, Cheryl Herbert and Sarah Herbert; his grandsons, Paul J. Holt, Jr., Martin K. Herbert, Jr. and William Briscoe (TonTon); and his great grandchildren, Iyaunna Herbert and Myliah Herbert.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Mason, Agnes Holt, Raymond, Michael, Joseph (Brenda), Jerome (Martha), James (Karen), William (Pam), Paul (Charlene), Martin (Crystal) and Robert Herbert (Valerie); his grandchildren, Renee, Lashonda and Rebecca; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Forbes. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren.
