It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Pope (Laytonsville, Maryland), born in Sykesville, Maryland, who passed away on January 7, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Young and Maggie Young; her husband Russell C. Pope; her sons, Dr. Gary A. Pope (Carolyn) of Hickory, NC and Leland Pope (Rita) of Memphis, TN.; her grandchildren, Heather Pope, Katie Egerton (David), Russell Pope (Melissa) and Elliott Pope; and her great grandchildren, Davis, Henry, Gray Egerton and Leland Pope.
