Ida Catherine Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Catherine Smith (Laytonsville, Maryland), who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Ransom Halterman; her husband Arthur Wayne Smith; and her siblings, John, Joe, George, Daniel, Sam, Sarah, Margaret and Catherine.
She is survived by: her children, William W. Smith (Esther) of Monrovia, MD, Ethel C. Clemons (Alvin) of Gaithersburg, MD and Gary L. Smith (Rebecca) of Wynne, AR; and her siblings, Mary Clay of Kemptown, MD, Amanda Sales of Woodbine, MD and David Silvius of Ellicott City, MD.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Goshen Mennonite Church Building Fund in Ida's Memory.
