It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abigail Jackson of Laytonsville, Maryland, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Carroll Hursey of Virginia and Theron David Hursey II; and her niece Roberta Lauren Hursey. She is survived by: her children, Monica Martins Monteiro of Sao Paolo and Gontijo Jordan Pinto of Sao Paolo, Brazil.; her husband William Johnson Jackson; her daughter Sheryl Lynn Cruz (Eric); her grandchildren, Erica Lynn Cruz and Jackson Scott Cruz of Laytonsville, MD; her brother Theron David Hursey III (Jacqueline) of Dublin, NC; and her nieces, Cristin Hursey, Carmen Hursey Greene and Davida Hursey Hall. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
