He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Helmick and Mary Helmick (Holt); his sister Jacqueline Jo Gillis (Helmick); and his former wife Ruth Helmick (Swiger). He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Cynthia Anne Morral (Wade) and William Stephen Helmick (Cathy); his sister Mary Katherine Warash (Helmick); his granddaughters, Krista Kegg (Jamie), Melissa Cooper (Brice), Kelly Osterbind (Brandon) and Kristen Oakley (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Alaina, Addison, Britton, Emma, Cassidy, Hallie, Sophie, Will, Alex, Maisie, Ethan, Erin and Logan.
