He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Tressler and Mary Ruth Tressler Patterson (Patton); his former wife Margaret Gail Tressler (Jackson); and his son John Jason Tressler. He is survived by: his sister Judy D. Harvey of New Park, PA; his niece Terri Marsteller (Rick) of New Park, PA; his nephew Douglas Shaulis (Steph) of Somerset, PA; and his fiancée Brenda Morgan of Frostburg, MD..
