He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Paul and Melodie (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Felicity, Alexander, Zachary and Megan; his brother L. Wesley, Jr. (Susan); and his nephews, Justin (Kirsten) and Damon (Susan).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Friendship Haven Church, 22 North Mechanic Street, Cumberland, MD.
