It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Clayton Moore of Lavale, Maryland, born in Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Glen Moore and Esta Faye Moore (Bryner); and his siblings, Richard Moore, Byron Moore, Molly Kaiser (Moore) and Barbara Mahaffey (Moore).
He is survived by: his daughters, Janey Moore of Frostburg and Juley Moberg (Paul Moberg) of Media; his grandchildren, Dr. Benjamin Norris (Teresa Norris) of Frostburg, Natalie Norris of Arlington Va, Dr. Emily Moberg and Madelyn Moberg of Swarthmore Pa; his great grandchildren, Ivy Rose Norris and Zana Mae Norris of Frostburg; his brother Douglass Moore; and his pets, Clementine and Lulu.
He was most proud of his contribution to the Polaris Missile Project.
