We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2024, at the age of 95, June S Carney of Lavale, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Brooke Smith and Lydia Kimble Smith; her husband George L. Carney, Jr.; her son Michael of Cumberland; and her siblings, Earl Smith and Vivian Haycock of Cresaptown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn (Ronald Barbati) of Pittsburgh, Barbara McIntyre of LaVale and Georgia (Rick Connor) of New Market, MD; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Knight, Rayne Carney, Lydia Carper, Anthony Barbati (Jen), Reneé Sanders (Michael), Brett McIntyre (Liz), Sean McIntyre, Eric Connor and Megan Connor. She is also survived by ten great – grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
