It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Lewis Sr. of Lavale, Maryland, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willison Lewis and Annie McKay Lewis (White); his siblings, Jack Lewis, Helen Phillips, MaryLou Tharp, Tom Lewis, Mae Lewis, Allen Lewis, Bob Lewis and Henry Lewis; his son-in-law Jim Lensbouer; and his wife Margaret Fekety Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lewis (Mary), Albert Lewis, Joe Lewis Jr., David Lewis (Jerri), Elizabeth Gerhard (Bobby), Debbie Wright (Tom), Linda Guthrie (Larry), Margie Lensbouer and Lillian Lewis (Bill Chesno); and his siblings, Jerry Lewis, Raymond Lewis (Carolyn) and Geraldine Felker. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
