Helmstetter of Lavale, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 81, on November 10, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferman Helmstetter and Mae Catherine Helmstetter (Clinedinst); his wife Margaret Helmstetter (Vaudois); and his siblings, Don, Ed and Barbara Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Eva Gordon (Vic), Richard Lowery, Jr. (Rin), Daniel A. Lowery (Peggy Theresa "Tootsie") and Logsdon (Matt); his grandchildren, Laura, Mark, Connor, Tripp, Tanner, Thomas, Keem, Tucker, Travis, Taylor, Tallia, Tarryn and Tattum; his great grandchildren, Josie, Asher, Macy, Kendall and Harper; his close friend Terry Michels; his sisters, Janet Riley and Eva Mae Lloyd; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
