It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Joseph Schoenadel of Lavale, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Schoenadel and Lillian Grace Schoenadel (Carter); his wife JoAnn Elizabeth Schoenadel (Rice); his sister Rose Marie Phillips; and his stepsisters, Donna Lambert, Carol Jeanne Wolf and Esther Rowe.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Marshall Schoenadel (Connie) of Lockport, IL, David George Schoenadel (Paula), Rita Renee Nablo (Donald) of Richmond, VA, Judith Kim Thacker (Steve) of Richmond, VA and Tracy Lynn Schoenadel (Laura) of Stamford, CT; his stepsisters, Mildred Faye Lindsey and Judy Hoyman; and his half-brothers, William Aaron Schoenadel and Michael Joseph Schoenadel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
George donated over 50 gallons of blood and platelets during his lifetime and was an avid home and commercial builder.
