He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Boyd Hunter and Mary Louise Hunter (Shipe); and his brother-in-law Donald Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Suzanne Hunter (Stoney); his children, George B. Hunter, Jr. (Andrea), Grace and Heather Ann Wilson (Craig); his grandchildren, Jacob Wilson, Kaitlyn Wilson and Emily Wilson; and his siblings, Alice Lewis and James "Jim" Hunter (Eileen). He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
