She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lechliter and Margaret Lease (Lewis); her stepfather Edwin G. Lease, Sr.; and her former husband James P. Ruppert, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James P. Ruppert, Jr., Jacqualine S. Wisenberg and Kimberly L. Daum (Thomas "Chris"); her brothers, Edwin G. Lease, Jr. (JoAnn) and Robert C. Lease (Nahrain); her grandchildren, Christopher A. Daum (Sierra Sewall), Jamie Daum and Alyssa Varnadoe (Pierce); her great grandchildren, Faith Varnadoe, Ava Daum, Case Varnadoe and Michael Thomas Daum; her nieces, Michelle McDuffie, Heather Kirk, Jennie Villarreal and Judy Swager; and her friends, William Harris, Brenda Erickson and Carrie McKenzie.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD 21502). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
