With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Joann Wren (Laurel, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Rita Joann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Rita Joann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William G Wren and Juanita R Wren; and her sister Laverne Ann. She is survived by: her sister Arlene Rollins; her brother-in-law James A. Rollins, MD (Lacey Rollins); her cousin Reverend Perry Moore; and also, Ricardo Moore and Angie Moore.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. (7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maryland National Memorial Park (13300 Baltimore Ave, Laurel, MD 20707).
