It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Perry Wayne Thomas (Laurel, Maryland), born in Frostburg, Maryland, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eugene Thomas and Anna Lee Thomas (Timney); his brothers, Randy and Scott Thomas; his brother-in-law Dan Sloan; and his stepson Matthew Werkeiser.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Thomas; his children, Jeremy Thomas (Mollie Brailer) and Shanna McDowell (Micah); his stepchildren, Michele Stiger (Colin), Shaun Werkeiser (Melanie) and Ethan Werkeiser; his grandchildren, Chase, Peyton, Hudson Thomas, Morgan, Mason, Ava McDowell, Alexa Williams, Caleb, Abigail, Kloe Werkeiser, Xander, Aurora, Jake Ward and Zoe Stiger; his sister Sloan (Jeff Porter); his nieces and nephews, Dan, Dawn, Natalie, Marcie, Billy, Katie, Mallory, Scott and Emily; his cousin Steve Thomas; his friend Russel Michaels; and also Melody Werkeiser.
