She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Mae McKee and George Clinton Omar Kackley; her husband Paul William Ganoe, Sr.; and her brother Charles Kackley. She is survived by: her significant other J. P. Kake Korner; her children, Pamela Horne (Greg) of Heathsville, VA, Billy Ganoe (Cindy) of Savage, MD, Jennifer Neimiller (John) of Kilmarnock and Jeffrey Ganoe (Wilfried) of Germany; and her grandchildren, Paul Gregory, Daniel, Jeremy, Jessie, Kristin, Paul William III and Zachary. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Savage (8901 Washington St, Savage, MD 20763). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (464 Fairview Rd, Gore, VA 22637).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Savage.
