It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Clayton of Laurel, Maryland, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Gaston and Annie Irene Edwards; her husband Buddy; and her brothers, William and John Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Clayton (Robin) and Elizabeth Clayton Correia (Will Younger) of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Casey, Lucas, Tyler, Alexis, Zachary, Evan, Travis, Mason and Jameson (Jaida); her friends, Brenda "Sissy" Butner, Judy Wrape Fetzner, Fran Anne Windham Johnson and Mary Dawn Dobson; her sister-in-law Tommie Edwards; and her siblings, Donnie Edwards (Mitzi) of Moultrie and Connie Edwards Martin (Bob) of Elon, NC. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A reception was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707).
