He was predeceased by: his parents, Eben Janes and Evangeline Janes (Solasz); and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Janes; his siblings, Frederick Janes (Gail), Martha Janes and Dennis Janes (Deborah); his children, Wendy Janes Tait, Stacey Janes and Michael Janes (Melissa); his grandchildren, Michael Tait (Lindsay) and Casey Tait; his niece Debbie Solomon Williams (Gary); and his nephew Eddie Solomon.
