As we bid adieu to Carrie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carrie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Vettel and Harold Vettel; and her brother Carl Vettel. She is survived by: her husband Brian Flanagan; her children, Sean Flanagan, Theresa Flanagan and Jennifer Green; and her granddaughter Jeannine Cook.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Carrie.
