As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Betty may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barnett and Bertha Barnett; her daughter Vyvyan Frizzell McCaffery; her brother George Barnett (Melba Barnett); and her brother-in-law Otis McNeil.
She is survived by: her grandson Forest McCaffery; her great grandchild Caroline McCaffery; and her sisters, Joyce Ball of Orlando, FL, Kathleen Wilson of Durham, NC and Kate McNeil of King, NC. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707).
