She is survived by : her children, Fredericke Oakes, Jr. (Edana) and Christine Soetebeer (Jeff); her siblings, Curtis Shumate (Gayle) and Anne Tomasko (Martin); and her grandchildren, Aidan Oakes, Colin Oakes, Shealyn Oakes, Declan Harkness, Kira Harkness, Matt Soetebeer and Jake Soetebeer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
