He was predeceased by : his parents, Ram Bharosey Lal Rastogi and Lilavati Rastogi; his son Dr. Amitabh Rastogi; and his brothers, Satish Chandra Rastogi, Ambrish Chandra Rastogi and Anil Kumar Rastogi.
He is survived by : his wife Sneh Rastogi; his daughter-in-law Dr. Sunita Kulshrestha; and his siblings, Subhash Chandra Rastogi, Girish Chandra Rastogi, Sunil Kumar Rastogi, Bala Rastogi, Sudha Rastogi and Poonam Rastogi.
