He was predeceased by: his parents, Obediah Bowling and Bernice Bowling; and his wife Elizabeth (Bunky). He is survived by: his children, Laurie Bowling, Gilbert Bowling Jr. (Buddy) and Darlene Richardson; and his family, Bud and Bunky.
