She was predeceased by: her parents, Almeda Hudson (Grimes) and Archie Hudson; her former husband Skeeter Nichols; her siblings, Norman Hudson (Mary) and Melba Croson (Stanley); her great grandchild Kinsley Sandvik; and her grandson-in-law Jordan Sandvik.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Nichols (Skeeter); her children, Ricky E Nichols (Maryanne) and Tracy Turner (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Shannon Sandvik, Kyle Nichols, Dustin Turner (Dana), Dylan Turner (Megan), Danin Dove (Brent), Savanah Albert and Steven Albert; and her great grandchildren, Emmry, Ford, Beckett, Kayla, Karson, Kaleb, Ellie, Will, Alden, Ava, Ryland, Blake and Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735).
