He was predeceased by: his child Walter W. Boyce. He is survived by: his spouse Joretta Boyce; and his children, Janet M. Petway, Roland Boyce and Joan M. Lewis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
