He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Cox and Marie Cunningham Cox; and his brother Bernie Cox. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Cox; his former wife Carol Ann Messick of Bruceton Mills, WV; his sons, Terrence John Cox, Jr. of Salisbury, MD and Kevin Cox (Vicki Garufi) of Edgewater, MD; his brother Tommy Cox (Sonya) of Fredericksburg, VA; and his granddaughters, Erica Walling, Melissa Stoffel and Crystal Lang. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
