She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Cox and Ruth Cox; her husband Leonard R. Owens Jr.; and her siblings, Ben Cox, Thomas Cox, Clifford Cox, Willie Cox and Mary Cox.
She is survived by: her sons, Brandon (Mark) and Mark (Avier); her grandchildren, Amoni Zhane McNeill-Owens, Mark Trenton Owens Jr. (MJ) and Mia Naomi Owens; and her siblings, Virginia Brown, Julia Jones, Joyce Cox and John Cox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (5120 Whitfield Chapel Rd, Lanham, MD 20706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt Calvary Baptist Church (5120 Whitfield Chapel Rd, Lanham, MD 20706).
