He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elaine Brooks; his children, Karen Wilson, Marvin Brooks, Martin Brooks and Marlon Brooks; and his siblings, Charles Brooks, Jerome Brooks, Mary "Sis" Brooks and Geraldine Brooks. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers-in-law, several sisters-in-law, a son-in-law, several daughters-in-law and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
