He is survived by: his children, Mack Terry McCoy II, Tabitha Avallone and Marquita McCoy; his grandchildren, Giovanni Avallone, Alexis McCoy and Simone Young; his siblings, Troy McCoy, Lawton Wesley McCoy, Herbert Lee McCoy, Yvon McCoy Copes, Marilyn McPherson and Juanita McCoy Brown; his former wife Jacinta McCoy; his children-in-law, Leah McCoy and Anthony Avallone; his sisters-in-law, Joyce McCoy and Beverly McCoy; and his aunts and uncles, Ellaree Benjamin, Joyce Hall, Bletcher Benjamin (Ben) and Wilson Hall. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
