He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Lewis Sweetenburg, Jr.; his parents, Lewis Sweetenburg Sr. and Mamie Ogelsby; his wife Beryl Sweetenburg; his children, Taft Sweetenburg (Denise), Angelo Sweetenburg, LaWan Sweetenberg and Tina Harris; his sisters, Jackie Wilson (Jimmy) and Gloria Lane; his grandchildren, Antonio Harris (Mia), Nicole Harris, Shainna Sweetenburg, Krystal Sweetenburg and Kevin Green (Kim); and his close friend Tabara Harris. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
