Johnson of Washington, DC; his sons, Larry A. Poteat, Jr. (Megan) of Trappe, MD and Lamont A. Poteat of Washington, DC; and his siblings, LaVerne Poteat Scott (Walter III) of Fort Washington, MD, Cynthia R. Poteat of Washington, DC, Anthony M. Poteat (Marilyn) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Tyrone D. Poteat (Barbara) of Bryantown, MD and Loretta A. Poteat of Catonsville, MD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and special friends.
