She was predeceased by: her mother Clorine Elliott; her stepfather Happy Elliott; and her sister Evetta Small. She is survived by: her sisters, Mayetta Brockman and Harriet Elliott; her children, Cordelia Sam, Valerie Dorsey, Celestine Brabble and William W. Brabble, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Joseph Weaver, Jr. (Nazish), Jason Gardner, Sheree Carter (Walter), Khalid Bostick, Thornton Brown IV (Jeanine), Bryanna Brown and Ruby Roane. She is also survived by great great grandchildren, family and friends.
