Constance Celestine Snowden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance Celestine Snowden (Lanham, Maryland), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Constance may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her sister Mable Virginia Bailey; and her nephews, Michael Benoit and Lacey Collins. She is survived by: her children, David Anthony Snowden (Donna), Rene Barron Snowden (Jacqueline), Linda Denise Snowden, Steven Andre Snowden (Yvette) and Alan Keith Snowden; her sister Yvonne Delores Collins; her niece Rhonda Dorsey; and her nephew Robert Benoit (Tim). She is also survived by family, which includes six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two surrogate grandsons, and three surrogate great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seaton Memorial AME Church (5507 Lincoln Ave, Lanham, MD 20706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
