He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Howard-Cain and Mattie Howard-Cain; his son Charlie Thomas Cain; and his brother Melvin Shavio Cain. He is survived by: his wife Mary Emma Cain; his children, Wargaret Phelicia Renay Cain (Terrence), Gustavus Caryar Bartex Cain and Shawnda Darlene Bass (Totsey); his grandchildren, Bre, Aisha (Darnell), Brian, Shamika, Chauncey, Charnise, Nihja, Kaybria, Gariq, Samiah, Jayden and Jairus; his great grandchildren, Anthony III, Lauren, Londyn, Korri, Tatum, Titus, Charlie and Aire; and his siblings, Janie Mae Wells (William), Dorothy Cain-Wright, John W. Cain (Viola) and Harry M. Cain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Because of the unprecedented restrictions and challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic presents, we are postponing memorial services until a later date.
