It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Webster of Lanham, Maryland, born in Lecompte, Louisiana, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Webster and Carrie Webster (Hill); and his siblings, James and Matilda. He is survived by: his siblings, Juanita Webster of New York, NY, Dorothy Webster Silas of Alexandria, LA., Robert Webster of Orlando, FL and Harold Webster of Washington, DC; his mothers-in-law, Delores Webster and Lucille Webster; his friends, Warren Taylor, Dr. Matthew Kinnard and Dr. Jonathan Roberts; his close friend Lillian Fisher; and his friends, Edward Radden, Dowell Davis, John Stanfield, Charles Patterson, Anthony Rene, Robert Jones (Bobby), Julius Brantley, Mint Basnight, James Barnes, Harold Harris Charlie Barr, Ronald and Syd Carter. He is also survived by nephew, nieces and other relatives.

In the time of Covid-19, restrictions make it difficult to be with someone as the transition to another life occurs.

He took pride in being the son of a father who completed third grade and a mother who completed eighth grade, but provided the foundation for his academic achievement.
