With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred J. Brown (Lanham, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 71. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alfred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown and Catherine Brown; and his siblings, Edgar, Charles Brown and Joanne Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Stanton-Brown; his children, James (Sandra), Joslin, Jacelyn and Jennifer; and his granddaughter Noelle.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Of Glenarden Ministry Center (3600 Brightseat Rd, Lanham, MD 20785). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
