She was predeceased by: her parents, Gasper L. Hill and Reba M. Hill (Grant); her husband Lee Andrew Peebles, Sr.; her brother James Hill; her stepdaughter Janet Demory; and her brothers-in-law, Kelly Peebles, Bishop and James R. Peebles, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia J. Giddings (late Robert R. Giddings, Jr.), Lee A. Peebles, Jr., Gwendolyn A. James (Harold James, Sr.), Elliott A. Peebles (late Donna Peebles), Patricia A. Bigelow (Jerry Bigelow), Bernadette Higginbotham (Jamie Higginbotham), Terri T. Peebles-Hunt (Sidney Hunt, Jr.) and Perry J. Peebles Sr. (Lhiz Peebles); her siblings, William H. Hill (Evelyn Hill), Jennings H. Hill (Pauline Hill) and Surlina Hill Aaron; her siblings-in-law, Alease Mitchell (Peebles), Elizabeth Hill and Raymond Pugh (Tina Pugh); and her grandchild Seventeen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
