He is survived by: his children, Carmilida, Kenneth, Joyce and Lawana; his former wife Barbara Jean Bailey; his daughter Brenda (Charles) of Washington; his wife Gwen Robinson; his children, Karen Southerland (Alonzo), Carolyn Jackson, Brian Robinson, Stanley Robinson (Barbara), Tracy Mitchell (Danny) and Darrell Robinson; his sister Lawana Timberlake (Earl); his sister-in-law Dorinda Taylor; his grandchildren, Tara (Damian), Corey, Alonzo (Cindy), Timm, Courtney (Micah), Adrienne (Bryan), Brian Jr., Dante (Angela), Kayla, Cydnye, Jordan and Joshua; his aunts, Beatrice Robinson and Louise Green; his friends, Clarence Holmes and William Outlaw (Bill); and his sister Carmilida. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
