He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Neal and Donnie Cable Neal; his son David Neal; his stepchildren, William R. Gardner, Jr. and Martha Ann Cain; and his sister Charlotte Joan Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Martha Neal; his son Mark Neal; his stepson Thomas E. Gardner (Donna); his stepchildren-in-law, Christine Gardner and James Cain; his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mark and Billie Neal; and his stepgrandson Brandon Gardner. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, many neices, nephews, and close friends.
