She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brawner and Rita Brawner; her husband Bernard "Bernie" Wathen; and her siblings, Jane Carrick, Donna Merchant, Jerry Brawner and Butch Brawner.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Dobry (Rob); her children, Robert "Bobby" DePhillip (Dorothy), Carleen Cusic (Mark), Anthony "Tony" DePhillip and James "Jimmy" DePhillip II (Sara); her grandchildren, Joseph Gore (Jennie), Nicholas Gore, Samantha Cusic, McKenna DePhillip, Emarie DePhillip, Audrey DePhillip and James DePhillip III; her great grandchildren, Abner and Amelia Gore; and her caregiver Jo Ann Ricks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
