He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Theodore, Sr. and Mary Martha Louise Carter; his grandparents, Joseph K., Mary Louise Rosier, George, Sr. and Bertha Carter; and his sister-in-law Lisa Carter.
He is survived by: his son Travis Stewart; and his siblings, Amy Barnes (Charles Jute), Deborah Thomas Sheila Clark (Kit), Lisa Carter (Roscoe Proctor), Pamela Simms (Bradley), Cherry Fluker (Mike), Conrad Robbie (Diane Wade), Jerome, Marty (Denise) and Thaxton (Julia). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
