He is survived by: his sons, Derek Prout and Tyrell Prout; his daughters-in-law, Karen Prout and Kelly Prout; his grandchildren, Megan, Melanie and Kayden Prout; and his sisters, Shirley Brown and Dorothy Hill. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
