He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carl Ansell and Martha Estelle Ansell; his former wife Mary Frances Ansell; his brother David C. Ansell; and his daughter-in-law Elesa Ansell.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey L. Ansell; his children, Renee M. Walker (Brent), Robert F. Ansell Jr., Ronald S. Ansell, Richard Ansell (Tanya), Mitchell Miller, Kenneth Miller and David Miller; his brother Harry J. Ansell; and his sister-in-law Anna Ansell. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
