He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Jones and Anna Belle Jones; and his sons, Dale "Andre" Hawkins, Kenneth Jones and Matthew Jones III.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard, Jerry Jones, Anna Dent, Deborah Alston, Naomi Jones, Ollie Pegeron and Esther Jones; his wife Teretha Jones; his children, Fern Beachom, Ericka Young, Cheryl Griffin, Keia Brooks (Vernon), Kyni Jones, Keionna Solomon and Lorenza Solomon (Kathy); his siblings, Michael Jones (Barbara) and Carmen Jones-Thomas; and his friends, Jeff Williams and Bobby Jackson (BJ). He is also survived by his siblings, children and grandchildren.
